 Mark Brown joined the group as Chief Executive of Arbuthnot Securities Limited in September 2004. In February 2005, he was appointed a director of Arbuthnot Banking Group. He was previously global head of research at ABN AMRO and HSBC Investment Bank and Chief Executive of ABN AMRO Equities (UK).

Neil Kirton joined Arbuthnot as Deputy Chief Executive in January 2006 and took on the responsibility of Head of Corporate Finance in September 2006. Prior to Arbuthnot, Neil was Head of Equities at Bridgewell; Global Head of Sales at ABN Amro, and Head of UK Equity Sales and Deputy Chief Executive at Hoare Govett Securities (UK).

Atholl Turrell joined Arbuthnot in 2003. He was formerly managing director and head of corporate broking at Schroder
Salomon Smith Barney and a managing director at Deutsche Bank. He is a board member of Arbuthnot Banking Group
plc, Arbuthnot’s quoted parent company.

Xavier Gunner, having joined Arbuthnot Securities in February 2006 as a Support Services analyst, was appointed Head of Research in April 2007. Prior to this, he was Head of the European automotives team at UBS and the No. 1 Extel rated automotive sector analyst.

Rupert Stevenson was appointed Head of the Investment Funds team in January 2006. Rupert has fifteen years’ experience as an investment trust salesman having worked at BZW, UBS Warburg and Credit Lyonnais Securities before joining Arbuthnot Securities in 2004.

James Steel joined Arbuthnot in December 2003. He was previously managing director of European investment banking at
Citigroup, which he joined when Salomon Smith Barney acquired Schroders in 2000. Prior to that, he had been a
director in the corporate finance division of Schroders since 1986. Before joining Schroders, he qualified as a
chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse.

Andrew Fullerton, who joined Arbuthnot in February 2004, was previously a senior corporate broking director at CSFB and BZW
and headed support services equity capital markets at Société Générale. Prior to joining BZW in 1987, he qualified
as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen.

James Bishop joined Arbuthnot in February 2005. With 18 years of experience in small and mid cap sales, he started his career
in fund management, including four years at BZW as a small cap analyst. Most recently, he spent two years at
Teather & Greenwood and prior to that, five years at Natwest Markets/Bankers Trust/Deutsche Bank.

Robert Tipping joined Old Mutual in 1999 from Deutsche Bank to set up the firm’s market making operation. Prior to Old Mutual, he spent 13 years at NatWest Securities/BT Alex Brown/Deutsche Bank, the last five years of which were as Head of Investment Trust Trading.

Paul Kersey joined Arbuthnot in March 2004 and has more than 20 years of experience in trading in UK equities. He spent

Sukesh Mayor joined the business as head of finance from SG Cowen in November 1999 to establish the financial control
infrastructure, taking on responsibility for settlements in 2001. He is a chartered accountant, with 16 years’
experience in the investment banking industry, firstly at Smith New Court and then Natwest Securities.
