Investment Funds

The investment funds team is a highly experienced and ambitious team dedicated to delivering a fully integrated service through its strong links with all key UK institutional investors and private client brokers, in addition to having an interface with US investors through its US partner, Auerbach Grayson. The success of the investment funds team stems from its relationship driven approach and is reflected in the client base having grown significantly in recent years.

The sales team, Matthew Kinkead (Olliff & Partners, Panmure Gordon, Collins Stewart) and Adam Gill (Jardine Matheson, Cazenove) has consistently maintained no.1 market share in all of the team’s corporate clients.

The sales team was recently ranked no.2 in the 2009 Extel Survey.

Chris Young (Panmure Gordon, Credit Lyonnais) has an in-depth knowledge of the investment funds/trusts sector and provides both ad-hoc topical bulletins and independent bespoke research coverage, as well as acting on the sales side. 

Market making (Calum Summers and Darren Papper) provides significant liquidity and acts as a deal facilitator by making markets in over 200 corporate stocks.

The corporate finance team is led by Alastair Moreton (16 years at HSBC) who together with Hannah Pearce (a qualified lawyer from Norton Rose) acts as Nomad, financial adviser, sponsor and/or corporate broker to the Investment Funds team’s corporate clients. They provide strategic and market related guidance together with independent and objective financial advice across all aspects of corporate finance, including IPOs, M&A, financing, restructuring and equity issues.
